Isaac, I cannot believe you are five years old already. How on earth did half a decade fly by just like that? No wonder people say time flies when you’re having fun. You were the one who made me a mother. Sometimes I do look back and feel bad because I made so many mistakes with you. As a first time mother and a nervous wreck, I had no idea what I was doing and yet you turned out quite the fine young man you are today. There are way more than 5 reasons why I love you but to honour your fifth birthday, I’m going to list the top 5. I love your kind sweet nature. We never had to teach you how to share. You just somehow always knew how to care for people around you. I love your gentle personality. I cherish our quiet times painting, baking and playing boards. I love that you always ask about my day and remind me to share my highlights. I love how patient you are with your sister. Even though she beats you up daily, you have never ever laid a finger on her. Also, You teaching her the alphabet and numbers means daddy and I don’t have to. Lastly, I love how loyal you are. You only watched Paw Patrol for 4 years and only recently moved on to PJ Mask last month. You are considerate to all your friends and family. I’m so honoured I get to be your first love and best friend. I can’t wait to share more beautiful memories with you. You will always be my baby.
